Living with HIV
Getting a positive HIV result can bring anger, confusion or fear. With the right information, support and treatment, people living with HIV can live long and healthy lives.
Taking HIV treatment every day keeps the immune system strong and reduces the amount of HIV in the body. When viral load is undetectable, HIV is not passed on sexually.
Relationships and support
Your HIV status is private. It is up to you to decide when and how to tell people you trust. Support from friends, family, healthcare workers or peer groups can help.
